Having problems running some java in Internet Explorer 7. I have to use Firefox 2.0.
I get this error: Java Runtime Environment cannot be loaded It only happens on certain aps on sites. While others work perfectly. In Firefox 2.0, never have any problems at all. Why is this?

What sites seem to have the issue?

I almost I posted this a couple days ago.
As far as I know the Java is up to date. It happens on several different sites. The only site that I use jave at the moment is at the MSN site. Where the games are. There are some games I can't play in there at all. When I try I get the Runtime Error I also reinstalled IE7 and java just to make sure no infected files. Apparently none so far. And also its happening on my friends computer as well. Would this be a security issue? |

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Java. If you had Java installed before upgrading to IE7, it's possible there is an issue somewhere.

I have tried reinstalling java. Didn't help.
I think its IE7, cause for a couple of days it has been show an error every time I close it. But I just found out why its doing it. My most concern is the Java problem. |

Make sure you uninstall everything pertaining to java, not just the latest version. The updates tend to accumulate in the add/remove programs control panel.
Also make sure you clear your browser cache...a partially downloaded Java Applet could cause issues. Next, try going into the control panel and click on the "Java" icon (if your control panel is in classic mode). On the "general" tab, delete the temporary files. This Knowlege Base article from Microsoft might help: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/168806/en-us If you have any 3rd party toolbars in IE7, such as Google, Yahoo, MSN or Yahoo companion, try uninstalling them. First I uninstalled the yahoo toolbar then reinstalled java.
Now I can play the games in java on a website that I use. So my guess it was yahoo that was causing all the problems. Thanks guys. I was getting a 0x00000000 error before, it stop showing for a awhile. Now its showing up again. On a different site I was told that it was a memory problem. It told me to clean the dust around the memory, it worked for awhile. Its doing again.

Your blue screen issue is completely seperate from your Java issue. When it happens again, copy down the error message and all the error numbers and start a new thread.
