IE7 crashing?

I updated Windows XP pro on two computers recently. Well, one is pro and one is a version of MCE that's based off of pro.

For some reason, IE crashes on me. What will happen is I'll open a few windows in a tab, read on, and then click on a link forgetting to open it into a new tab. The link opens into a new window. I read or see what I need to, and close the window. Once I close that window, IE crashes and all my IE windows and tabs close.

Has anybody else been experiencing this? It only started happening after I did my windows update.

Nothing like that for me, Stuey, and I'm running IE7 with updates on several boxes. Maybe take a look at what else is running when this happens.

It's happening on both my laptop and office PC though. My laptop has quite a bit of software in the background but not the office PC. Maybe it's a flash ad or something of the sort that's invoking the crashing. Oh well. It's not too difficult to recover from, just annoying.
