Bruce,
I posted the same problem a couple weeks ago. Apparently a lot of people are having this problem and it seems to be a bug in Netscape. Do a ctrl/alt/del and make sure you don't have 2 instances of netscape running. Check the proxy settings and compare them to what's set up in IE.

I used to use two browsers,,, using netscape as a backup... recently I tryed using netscape and could not bring up any sites at all into window... I downloaded the newest 4.7 and reinstalled and still does the same thing. is conacting host in the bottom and it does it search thing, and then i get the no response window....
has anyone ever had this problem with Netscape?? I have no problems with IE which is suprising im sure to most... What would be a reccomendation to fix netscape and why is this doing this?? thanks |

GLC,,,, your talking greek to me.....
I have know idea how to check my proxy settings for IE..... and no there is only one instance of Netscape running..... |

Check with your ISP's support to see if there are any particular settings you need to use with netscape.
