some security related questions
ISP Services have there firewalls which blocks the unwanted softwares like viruses, spywares and other types of threats from entering the users who use internet.
My question is that why do we need anti-viruses or anti-spywares if the ISP blocks all these threats from internet through there firewall? Do users using the ISP for internet can leave viruses on internet so that it could harm other users computers? I hope my question is clear, Regards, |

ISP's haven't always blocked viruses the way they do now. Now they really only block the spread of them via email. They don't or really can't do anything about trojans/spyware which have a different method of transmission.
