Firefox Hyperlink Issue

I have my default set to Firefox vs2.0.0.4 and use google as my home page. When I search for something and then click the link it takes me to the page I requested but the problem is when I click back on the browser it goes back to the search page but the hyper link doesnt show a diff color so I know I already looked at that site.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Using the same version and no problems here. Have you gone thru your settings to see if anything changed?

To be honest its been so long that I looked at my settings I wouldn't know if anything had changed. I guess I could try factory defaults if there was a setting to restore...I searched Mozilla but couldnt find it over there either.

Go to Tools > Options > Fonts & Colors: Colors button > Check the link colors and make sure that both the visited and Unvisited aren't the same color. The default setting is to also allow pages to set their own link colors .. u can disable it if you want to test it out.

Also go to Privacy > and make sure that you've set Firefox to remember visited pages .. and that the number of days is NOT 0 .. if so Firefox will forget that you've been to a site.

Wow... somehow I missed that... I think I glossed over the content icon pretty quick, paying more attention to the Main and Advanced sections... Maybe that'll be fixed after my eye appointment today
