I have de-selected all the LAN Settings in my copy of IE 6 in order to display Web pages
accessed via my cable modem (768 kbps). Otherwise, Web pages don't display! However, IE 6 resets these settings as selected every time I re-start IE 6. Is there any way to keep these LAN Settings permanent? I'm running under W2K. Thanks for any suggestions.... |

Do you have any kind of webfilter installed or possibly Norton or McAfee Internet Security?

I have Ghostsurf, but I disable it before I start an IE 6 session.
I don't have any Norton suite program; I do have ZoneAlarm as a firewall. |
