cannot access a website
I had some important questions , i wasnt able to access several websites inspite of being connected to the ISP Server. I also tried those websites that were not frequently visited by me ,inorder to check if the DNS Server of the ISP is working fine or not but still i wasnt able to access those websites as well?
I cleared my computers DNS cache but still couldnot access websites? I pinged the ISP Server and was geting a response from it successfully . But when i tried to ping the DNS Server, i was getting a "Time out" messege. I disconnected my dial up and reconnected it, and then everything seemed to work fine, i was able to access websites without any problem but when i again tried to ping the DNS Server , i was still geting a "Time out " error messege. I wanted to know that isn't our computer directly connected to the ISP's DNS Server? If it is not, then how come our browser is able to access websites by connecting to the IP address of the Web Servers? I hope my detailed question is clear Regards, |
