how to increase internet performance

How can we increase internet performance? If we want to speed up our internet ,than do we simple have to clean our cookies ,temp folder and history of visited websites inorder to speed up internet or there are other things that we have to do apart from this?

1) You can get/pay for more bandwidth from your ISP
2) Can turn off the loading of pictures - will make it boring but faster

You can uninstall flash. That prevents flash ads and other things from loading. But, that would mean no YouTube videos

You can block ads, which will significantly affect how fast browsing "feels" but won't do much for your download speed. Firefox and Opera have built-in adblocking (well, firefox is via extension) and you can always use a modified hosts file which will work for all browsers.

I have tried just about everything out there. By far the best tweak is cablenut. I even hit there forum and provided the needed info on my connection and some one came up with custom file for cable nut, One other thing go to http://www.testmy.net/ and run a download test. Use the "smart test" see how your speeds are. Take it from there.

We've already given you several suggestions. My last post was tongue in cheek because I was tired of watching you get lots of good suggestions and ignoring them.

It's a browser that I happen to really like. Give it a try and make your own decisions.
