Adblocking flash ads

Anybody know a way to do this besides whacking the player? Slows things down way too much, and I don't care about Zwinky. Actually I'd prefer if Zwinky died. But really, anybody know a way?

What browser are you using?
If you use firefox there are extentions that will disable flash and let you
enable flash objects individualy.

NoScript should do the trick. It does not block flash by default though.
