can't watch videos

So I was finally getting back into watching some video clips online, and noticed that i couldn't watch them. for some reason they just wouldn't play using IE7. there's a disclaimer at the top of the site that says they have issues with IE.

the site is: www.anitube.blogspot.com

they recommend using FF.

does anyone have any idea on what i can do short of installing FF so i could watch the clips?

OS: Vista 64, and fully updated from windows.

thanks.

Tips on Troubleshooting Video Problems
It's confirmed there are incompatibilities in Internet Explorer which prevent the video from playing. All videos play just fine on other browsers (Firefox, Opera, Safari). Sorry, I didn't realize this problem sooner. I've been using Firefox all this time and it's been a while since I tested the site on IE. If you don't have one installed already, here is a link to download Firefox with Google Toolbar.
That looks like it pretty much says it all.....FireFox makes a "portable" verion that doesn't require an installation....

well, just in case anyone cares, i actually found a work around to this.

maybe someone else can use this tip. So i was too lazy, and stubborn to actually download another internet browser. so here's what i did.

went to the page with the video file, right clicked and chose view source. searched that for the link to the actual file (which took a little time and refereing back to the page to find location). copy the link, and open in another ie window. it asked to save.

and that's how i did it.

only problem was it downloaded as a .jsp. i couldn't figure out how to open that, but eventually i tried jetaudio, and it worked.

I like jetaudio even more now.

amazingly yeah.

seemed easier to just find a way to do what i wanted instead of what they wanted me to do.

maybe i'm stubborn.

but at least i have them on my harddrive now so i can watch whenever i want.
