Virus or setting??

Lately when i open internet explorer it takes up the entire window. Meaning that there is no start button or window task bar at the bottom and the top bar (where you enter web address') scrolls up until i pan to the top of my screen and it scrolls down.

It is driving me nuts!!

I havent dont anything different lately and I run webroot's spy sweeper daily. Does this sound like a virus, or have i somehow changed a setting?

Thanks for any advice.

Sounds like Full screen mode is active. Hit the F11 key to disable/enable Full Screen mode.
