Smile Removing AOL Connectivity Services

I wanted to post a solution for anyone who is trying to remove the stubborn AOL Connectivity Services line from the Services in Admin. Tools.

1.) Remove the driver: atwpkt2.sys located in C:/windows/system32/drivers

2.) Remove the hkey services line in registry
directions: START >RUN> regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
Scroll down to the aol service - on the right panel it will confirm that registry in the Display Name, Delete the folder.
(remember to close the open folders before exiting)
REBOOT

Voila the AOL Connectivity Service is gone from your Services!!!!
....I spent on and off months trying to find a solution to this, hopefully someone will benefit from my learning curve....

Nice job !
I'm debating about keeping this ( I want the glory for my spot on the forum! ) but this really should go to the Internet section .
