Hi Guys, OK, I have been going to www.gamesville.com for years, now as of Friday I can't access the site to play games because I'm receiving an error message from IE. Here is the following Security Warning I'm receiving.
"Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the publisher". Name: www.gamesville.com Publisher: Unknown Publisher This Security Warning happens after I attempt to install Active-x. What gives ? I have uninstalled/reinstalled Java, no go. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks. P.S. I have installed Firefox and I'm still getting the same Security Warning that I received in IE. Gamesville is the only site I'm having problems with, so I've come to the conclusion that it could be the site but I'm still open to suggestions. I have scanned with TrendMicro, Ad-aware 2007, Spybot S&D, CCleaner, CWShredder, AVG, and Registry Mechanic. If you need me to I will do a HJT Log.

After doing scans with Trend Micro, AVG, Ad-ware, Spybot S&D, CWShredder, Windows Defender, SpywareBlaster, and a HJT Log would you believe I'm clean. I decided to do some Sherlock Hollmes investigating and went here System Info by going to System Information>Internet>File Versions and this is what I saw.

Hi folks, just an update. I'm glad to say I've got things working again. I decided to do a clean reinstall. I did notice that when going to the gamesville site if I had "Check for publisher's certificate revocation" or "Check for signatures on downloaded programs" checked under Security I would get the error messages. I unchecked the boxes and am glad to say things are working great and Java is working also.
