Question Internet Explorer wont allow add-ons

Everytime internet explorer is opened, it shows a message saying add-ons are disabled. To turn them on we should go to tools, and manage add-ons to turn them back on. However, the manage add-ons selection is grayed out, and wont let us open it. We can't update the computer apparently until the add-ons are turned on. What can be done? thankyou.

Odds are your IT department disabled this. Have you talked to them?

Have you tried going to the Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs tab > Manage Add-ons button?

The school district should have an IT department, you need to contact them.
