Making a second connection

At the moment I have got ASDL running in my home but ive just had some relatives move in for a while and i want to know how i can hook up a second internet connection to their PC. ATM i have a ASDL router with only one connection at the rear for a PC, do i need to but some kind of hub? And also after connecting a second PC do i need to change any of the modem settings?

Thanks and cheers.

No it aint wireless just a standard router with the single connection at the back. When you say switch, do you mean it will only allow one PC to have internet access at the one time(switching between the two)? Is there something that will allow both PCs to be connected at once?

Thanks

You can get switches with numerous ports, a five port switch runs between 20.00 and 40.00 dollars, there is no software to install,

A switch will allow multiple computers to connect as long as the router will issue more than one private IP address at a time.
