Cant play MPG or MPEG format files
When i try to play anything i downloaded from BitTorrent or LimeWire using Windows Media player that is in a MPG or MPEG format i get a message saying
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file. For additional assistance, click Web Help." I click web help and tried everything it suggested including updating the drivers that it suggested and nothing worked. also sometimes even when i try to play a file that is in AVI or any other file format, it comes up with the message. "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For additional assistance, click Web Help." I clicked web help and did everything it said and nothing worked. Also i have tried reinstalling windows media player, LimeWire and BitTorrent. I have also tried different media player programs such as Real Player and Quick Time. Nothing worked Please give suggestions as to why you think its not working. Thanks. |
