No sound on IE7 again
No sound on IE7, tried nearly all the fixes and solutions i can find on the net and stuff, but they dont work. Sound still works outside of IE.
I recently took my machine apart in order to replace a busted power supply, as far as i see everything is where it should be. Could this of been a factor? Any solutions? Just to see if theres any i missed. |

Funny but I had someone call me today with the same question. Sound would play off of a CD/DVD but not on the Internet. After clicking on his speaker icon and adjusting the volume it worked.

Are you using Vista?
It might be cause of my sound card, but I know on my machine, if I click on the speaker icon on the bottom right near the clock i get an option called mixer. Click that and you can actually set the volume of different applications. Go to a webiste with sound and then try that and see if the volume is set to max. Also, in IE, go to Internet Options then click on the Advanced tab. Scroll down to multimedia and make sure it says play sounds. |
