Help guys, this is the error I get when I try to access any webpage online. I recently install webcelerator which I found made my internet slower so I uninstallled it and now can't access any site but I can connect to the internet. I am currently using my mates computer.....please help

sounds like your dial up connection setting are off. try setting up the connection again wth the settings your isp gave you, its located in my computer, dial-up networking. if that doesnt work, remove dialup networking from your computer and reinstall it. its located in control panel, add/remove software, windows setup tab. you could also try reinstalling you browser. hope this helps!

Download Accelerator probably installed proxy settings which did not uninstall. Go into Internet Options - Connections and uncheck all boxes in LAN Settings. Also search your hard drive for lmhosts.sam and rename it to lmhosts.old

Same error!!
I'm receiving the same error....but in my case the error pops up when my browser tries launching a site (usually my ISP's homepage) when first logging on to the Internet. For now I'm using a browser work-around but it is rather annoying! Once logged in I don't see the error message. |

Log in with the DUN before launching your browser.
