Can't Set Print Page Size w/IE 6.0

Whenever I print a web page, it defaults to a "Custom" size of 4X6 and prints one page on the corners of 4 pieces of paper.

I am able to change it if I go into the page setup before printing that page. However, the next time I try to do the same this, it again defaults to this small, custom page.

I have tried the settings in the IE browser, and the settings for the printer, but again cannot get the default to change.

How can I set the default so that my printer normally prints on 8.5 X 11 paper?

(Note: The reason I am putting this in the Internet forum is that this problem only occurs when trying to print a web page.)

Pentium II, 166 MHz
64 M RAM
Canon MultiPass C5500 Printer
