You can use both. Many people do.

Hi nannalou,

Welcome to PCMech !!

As shadowpr says, you can use both. You can use many browsers as they don't interfere with each other. I've had four installed on this system for years: IE, Firefox (my favorite), Netscape 4.x, and Opera, and recently installed a fifth just to play with it: SeaMonkey
