I keep getting signs that say " Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problen and needs to shut down. Sorry. Etc. Sooo I tryed downloading the newer IE 6, This time I get a sign that says "Extracting file failed. It is most likely caused by low memory (low disk space for swapping file) or corrupted Cabinet file.
I'm running Windows 98 and I checked my hard drive and it says I have 7.16GB of freespace. Now What do I do. I deleted the IE6 download file and tryed to re-download IE 5.5 but that tell me i have a newer version installed. I seem to be up the creek no matter what i do. Can anybody please help me??? |

Lately, I have the same problem with my new IE 6.0
I get the "IE is experiencing a problem and must shut down" message. It cues me to send MS an error report which I do but...it's annoying to crash this often. I hope MS gets this bug out soon. It doesn't happen too much, so I'm leaving things be for now. |

After an entire afternoon of fussing and cusing, I finely managed to get IE 6 installed, and I'm still getting that annoying message! I'd like to send Bill Gates a (not so nice ) message!!! Thanks anyway.
