how to check relay or reverse lookup zone in outlook?

A person is using microsoft outlook 2003 and is having problem recieving e-mails because his outlook is configured to use a Mail Server in our own domain. I just wanted to know that how can we check the relay or reverse lookup zone on it?

Any hint or help would be deeply appreciated?
