WWW Issue
I have a laptop with Vista Home Premium (new since February). Haven't had any issues until this morning. When I log onto IE or Firefox, only some websites will load. I am conected to my wireless network and there are some sites loading, so I know I have connectivity. I am trying to update my AVG antivirus (7.5) and it is not able to establish a connection to the server.
Also, in my start menu I am noticing that there is CONSTANTLY a windows update shield on the power down button saying it needs to install updates and shut down. I've done this about 4 times in the last 1/2 hour. Any help would be appreciated...not sure whats going on here. |

Would go into: Setting/Security Center and turn off Automatic Updates. Then In Alert Setting, turn off the Alert for Auto Updates. Do a reboot. If you want the latest updates, doing manually by going to Windows Updates and download them from there.
As for the AVG problem, I get that problem sometimes. I just let it retry to connect and it does after a while.
