speedtest.net not working

Hello people ...well the other day I thought my internet was a little slow so I tried to run speedtest.net which I have used for a long time. The graphics of the US comes up but the servers don't show. I have updated my Java and adobe flash playe rand I can not get it to work . Been through disable fire wall antivirus etc... although its never bothered me before and I thought I would try it all. Still doesn't work . I am using WIN 2K and have never had a problem using that but I tried my laptop and that has XP PRO and no problem there...This is a multiboot machine so I will try XP on here as soon as it finishes some task's I have running.....

It worked for me, Al Pollock... in fact I hit pretty good at 7943 / 384. Have you tried anther browser? A while back I had a problem that wouldn't allow this speed site to work:

http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

That link may be a little more accurate..!? - I hit 6389 / 386 with it. The 7943 above sounds high, since I have a 6 mbps service, not 8.

I compared the two an the speeds were comparable so at least I know where to go for a back up...

Speedtest.net actually help me prove back awhile ago to my ISP that they weren't doing very well, and I wound up getting a lot !!!! of free internet till they figured out what was wrong ........

Thank you sir !

I like that "free Internet" that they gave you! It's nice when things work like that, eh?!
