Safari question
This may belong in the Mac section, so please move if necessary.
Often times Safari will either take awhile to pick up a wifi signal after my Macbook has been closed and asleep then reopened. Sometimes it won't find a signal at all until you fully quit the program then reopen it. The Macbook finds the network right away (you can tell by the symbol in the top right-hand corner), but Safari seems to have some issues. Closing and reopening the program always seems to fix it though. I have the latest version installed with all the updates. This has occurred in every version I've used since I bought the laptop at Christmas, and my friends have complained about it as well. Any ideas as to why it does this?

Sounds more like a network adaptor sleep issue.

Wondering if you tested the network and then opened Safari if Safari would then work ok?

I'll check it, but how do I do that on a Mac?
