Annoying pop-up ads
I've seen posts regarding programs to kill pop-up ads. Can someone please provide a link to some such freeware program?
Thank you. |

Here's a link to some tested by zdnet. http://www.zdnet.com/anchordesk/stor...805058,00.html I installed one some time back, called I think popoff32, but had to get rid of it since one of my applications quick running after downloading it. IE6 gets rid of a lot of them. And of course I don't get as many if I stay away from the porn sites.

To close pop-up window, instead of clickin' on:
Right-click on top of window, then Close: Clickin' on X may open more pop-ups. |

I normally just use Ctrl-W, it is fast and easy, and you don't have to take your hands all the way to the mouse and back.
