Network drive + Windows and Mac
If I were to buy a wireless network drive, I would be able to backup files from all my Windows based computers plus my macbook with time machine, right?
Also, it could serve as a print server, right?

that is correct as long as the network drive is formated FAT32. if you format it NFTS then the mac wont be able to write to it.
