Unhappy Desperate

Does anyone know of a program the will kill my internet connection to AOL and allow a call to go through the line? I like to do a lot of downloading but I can't be connected 24 hours a day because I need the line to be free for phone calls. I've looked but so far haven't gotten anywhere. It would be great if I could stay online and if I got a phone call AOL would disconnect and the call would go through. Know what I mean.

Cool

You might be able to accompolish that with call waiting thru the phone co. I know at one time call waiting would cause a connection to drop.

I already have call waiting. It has happened a few times between my laptop and this desktop which I'm currently on but for the most part when someone calls and I'm surfing I have no indication that someone is calling.

Send a message via ICQ to Gintaras
Call waiting is a POS IMHO.
I have Call Waiting, sometimes I get disconnected, sometimes[usually]- not.

Some time ago, I was considering Internet Call Manager.

If someone is using ICM, i'd like to hear opinions about.

TIA
