Printing large Acrobat files
Hi
I'm trying to print large (25Mb) Acrobat files iwork on a network to a shared printer in one run . When the buffering starts it quickly progresses to about 4,500 but then it slows to a crawl. If instead I print 2,000 pages then another 2,000 pages they all "prgress" to the buffer quickly but after 500 pages of the 3rd document it crawls again. I've even tried splitting the Acrobat document into "Microsoft Imaging" files of 2,000 pages each but the same happens (this is not printing to hard copy). Question: how do I flush out the printing buffer after each 2,000 page run without rebooting the computer? TIA Steve |

To do that kind of work, you need a laser printer with a bunch of onboard memory and/or its own hard drive, and a print server to connect it directly to the network. Something that uses PCL5e/6/5c and/or Postscript would work best.
