Internet Connection Sharing

I am having problems getting ICS to work on my home network. I connect to the Internet via a modem connected to my Win98 main machine & want to share the connect with another machine (Win2000). The network works fine, but I can't get the Win2000 machine to connect, except that occasionally it does seem to recognise the connection but then loses it.
I am at a loss here.

Go to AnalogX and download the proxy program from their network section. It is easy to set up, and comes with a 5-page help file you can print out. I am using it right now, I too had problems with ICS.
