I backed up my Outllook a few weeks ago to a .pst file using the "Export" function. Now, whenever I start Outlook, I get an error message reading, "The path specified for the file.....is not valid." I click OK and then it takes me to a file browser as if it wants me to look for the file. I just cancel this and then it loads as normal, using its usual .pst as designed.
How do I get this error message to stop popping up whenever I start Outlook?

It will not allow me to do so. I searched for the normal .pst files used for Outllook and found them. When I start Outlook and try to navigate to that location, the right folders do not appear.
However, when I cancel the navigation request, Outlook opens fine with the right data. This did not start until recently so something has changed. I really just want to get rid of the prompt at Outlook start and let Outlook do its thing like before. |

Try a system restore.
