I need an email validator

I'm looking for a free email validator that will validate emails addresses like AOL and Compuserve. I use one now called E-Validator, but it won't vaidate AOL addresses. Only SMTP addresses.

Does anyone know of a good email validator?

just for the record this is not for illegal spamming. It's for work. I work for a tradeshow/conference managing company and I send email reminders and updates to some past attendees.
