"We were unable to save you preferecens..." popup message
Hi,
I just started getting a popup message box with the following message when I click on a Yahoo news story in my homepage. Here is the message: "We were unable to save your preferecens. Please try again" I see that there are lots of others using IE6, IE7 and Firefox that are getting the same message. I'm wondering if any of our knowledgeable members know what might be causing this. Here is my theory: Prior to this for the past few days a new browser window opened up every time I clicked on a Yahoo news story. Usually a new tab opens in my IE7 browser and never a new window. I now see that Yahoo is once again opening a new tab but I get the error message listed above too. Could it be that the Yahoo "experts" caused this problem when attempting to fix the prior problem? Just a hunch. I'd be interested to hear if anybody has more information on this. Thanks. KJ |

It looks like Yahoo cleared up the error in their code as the pop up message no longer appears.
