PC Mechanic Layout?

First off I’d like to express my gratitude for the great site you guys are running. I’ve become rather hooked to the forums in particular lately.

Well.. on to my question..
Upon happening upon this site a few weeks back I was struck by a sense of deja vous... it soon hit me! I’ve been a regular visitor of PC World for a while and upon closer examination I’ve come to realize the layout similarities between the home page on this site and that of PC World. Is there some sort of affiliation between the two sites, is it just a case of pure coincidence (although I doubt that) or is there something else behind this? I honestly don’t know who had this layout online first ... so I’m making no presumptions here! Just curious

That's really interesting. I don't think PC Mech has any connections with PC World, and if I remember correctly this is a new design for PC World, their old one was much more cluttered. So, either both PC World and PC Mech used some type of design template or something, or PC World just plain copied PC Mech (I think PC Mech's design came first, but I'm not sure.)
