Inserting picture in Windows Mail / Vista
When I want to INSERT a picture in an e-mail that I wrote, I do the following. I go up to the menu at the top, and click on INSERT, then I get a drop down menu. one of the items is PICTURE, so I click on it. Then I go find the picture that I had already downloaded from my digital camera, and then click on it. The picture IS inserted in the e-mail, but it is very large and you need to scroll back and forth to see the entire picture. How can I reduce the size of that picture ? I do not see any options anywhere. Thank you, Mike

Try to attach the picture instead.
Just click on the paperclip ico (attach file).

shadowpr -- Thanks for the reply. That method still puts a very large picture in the message area of the e-mail. However it also puts an icon in the attachment block at the top. If I click on that icon, then the picture appears regular size. Thanks, Mike

You'll need to resize the image before you insert it.
