Apache help please
I have been trying to setup my own webpage on my own server just for the fun of it.
I've heard of apache before and heard it was the exact amount of money I had ($0 of course) so I downloaded it. I installed it, chose a web domain, and even created a quick bogus page that I would surely be able to tell if it worked. It kind of does. I can access my own page from my own browser but I have had other people try but they get the page not found error. Any help or tutorials are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you running through a router? You have to configure port 80. Also some ISP's block port 80 to get more money from people who want to run servers. I'd check with them to see. Hope this helps!

I am running through a router.
I'll look into configuring port 80 then. That clears some of the haze up. |

Most ISPs block port 80 on residential service.
