Website Display Issue

I run and maintain a website: www.earsoftheunderground.com

I went to test to see what my site looks like on different machines, to make sure it's all the same. I went on my roommates mac book pro and it showed up like this: http://i36.tinypic.com/wqvy28.png

Then I went on my machine and showed up like this: http://i37.tinypic.com/j0z042.png

Given that there were 2 different browsers used in this case, I downloaded Safari, and showed up the same as if Firefox was rendering it. I just cant get over the fact that the website looks pretty crude on my roommates mac book. I'm assuming it has to deal with the hardware on his mac (monitor)?

if you look at the corners on the article headers, (eg, where it says, "Holiday Discounts!") the screen shot of the mac shows that the corners don't match up in colors

I see the difference - the Mac shot looks like my XP box with clear type enabled. The fonts are rendering differently.

that's one issue, but its not the one I'm concerned about. I'm not sure if you can see it but the header on each article title is supposed to be rounded, not squared off. The mac screen shot doesn't show the rounded corners and it's really bothering me. here's a better representation..

It's either a CSS issue or a png issue (if those rounded corners are png images). To test to see if it's an image issue, use gifs instead of pngs. Other wise, Safari isn't interpreting something in the CSS code for the rounded corners properly.
