Need to add a computer to my netgear wireless! forgot how. ???????????????
OK, so I need some help. I have a hughesnet satellite internet connection. I had it hooked up without any issues for several years. Recently a year or so ago, someone was using my wireless connection, so I had to password it.
Now I have two computers on it, its a netgear . One hard lined, the main computer which has/ somewhere the software to update and add additional computers. I bought my daughter a lap top and my other daughter is home for the holidays and cant log on either. I totally forgot how to do this??????/ I cant recall if its via hughnest or netgear. But when I did it a year or so ago, it was very easy. Have spent an hour trying to even find what I opened a year ago, with the assistance of someone on line via hughsnet. any ideas.????? Dave |

The Hughesnet modem is not wireless, you must have set a password into your Netgear router. You can download a manual for your router from Netgear and that will give you the web address for the routers setup pages, you can read or reset the wireless password in the setup pages:
