Profile>edit profile, in the Signature box put the tag there. I believe that there is a way to do it with the IMG tag with 'ubb' ... in HTML it's the < IMG SRC= > tag. If you can't find the answer here, we'll move this to the Internet/WWW forum.

'UBB' is 'vB' ... for the tag used, look for 'adding images' at http://forum.pcmech.com/misc.php?action=bbcode near the bottom.
Not sure if signatures are only for text though. I'll double check as per the rules whether they are even allowed in the sig.

Just gotta be patient ... first you have to make sure that the picture is available and then look at the tag. Bosco, show which picture you want to add.
BTW, pics are indeed allowed in the sig after all. We'll move this thread to Internet/WWW.

Send a message via ICQ to Gintaras
I have experienced before that some free web hosting servers won't allow to place a link somewhere else. I could link pic here on PC Mech while file was on Xoom server.

I can see your animated Eyeball, just I need right-click->'show pic'.

I have files on ProHosting and if I want to place link of .jpeg or .gif file on Ebay, I have to "cut" .jpeg or .gif: if would type eyeball.gif, pic won't show up, if I type eyeball- pic would show up.

just some thoughts about.

This might be the problem.
The site that i am linking to,(my free geocities site)
does not allow it to be linked to. I think i said that right.

So Im going to try and link to something else.

Well done. Now I see the pic is at http://www.webdeveloper.com/animatio...iles/alert.gif and I have a couple of questions ... shouldn't this picture be at pcmech? and wouldn't it slow down these pages if it wasn't?

I don't think I can save the pic at/on the PC Mech site. Will it slow it down? I have know idea. It's a small GIF.
IV seen other GIF's in signatures that are probably linked to somewhere else. Does PC Mech allow you to save GIF's on their sit for this purpose?
I'll check it out. If it slows the site down, I'll remove it.

Hey Bosco, don't worry about it ... I'm double checking with the admins. I like your quote BTW, "There are no such things as problems, only learning opportunities."
