Question IE7 problem with websites

Hello. I am working on my Uncles computer for him, here is the problem: Firefox works fine on all websites but his work requires online training from home and the site only works with IE. When using IE7 none of the icons, pictures or links show up on the website. It also does this on other websites, not just the one for work. Any ideas? Tried to update IE still no help. How would I uninstall IE7 to do a reinstall, or do you think it is a setting problem etc??

Have you tried to reset defaults in ie7?

Can you give us the site, so we can check to see if it's the site and ie7, or just your ie7.

You may try to add this site, to his trusted zone in Internet Explorer 7.
Go to: Tools->Internet Options->Trusted Sites->Sites->(Uncheck Require Server Verification if the site does not use https)->Type the site's address->Add

Then try again.
