Cool axban????

OK. I read the daily tip about the ActiveX and the potential problems and the download available called axban. There wasn't a lot of detail in the daily tip about the product or the challenges with the activeX. I downloaded it knowing that if I don't do it now ... Running it brings up a list of aX controls that have been downloaded to my machine by me even though I have that yellow pop up warning me that maybe I shouldn't, but...

So, obviously, I need some education here. There were three items on that list highlighted in red. A button that said something about ax kill and a warning about effecting the registry. And, of course, I am running IE.

So, what do I need to know about this stuff?
