Netflix + Firefox works for me, not for friend
So my friend is having this really strange problem with Netflix and Firefox. The instant streaming function absolutely will not play for her unless she tries it through IE. It's a complete no-go with Firefox, even though it is supported. The weird thing is, it works fine for me. Netflix streams for me in Firefox 3.0.7 on Vista, as well as the newest Firefox release on Mac in Leopard.
I reinstalled Firefox for her and added silverlight, but it still won't work on her HP laptop with Vista. Anyone else having this problem, or know of any kind of solution?

Does it use flash? If so, you could try to update that.

I'll tell her to try updating it. When she tries to watch it takes her to a "supported browsers" page that ironically says her version of Firefox should work.

Could also try to reinstall firefox.
