IE8 Won't Allow Adobe Flash Player

I visted MySpace pages today and instead of the music player, I see a message saying that in order to listen, I need to upgrade my version of Flash. When I attempt to do this however, I recieve a message in the top yellow bar 'An add-on for this website failed to run. Check the security settings in Internet Options for potential conflicts' I then went to Internet Options to try to allow for this download to happen but with no success. Can anyone tell me specifically what I need to look for in Internet Options to make this work? Thank You. (I'm using IE 8 and Vista Home)
