IE 8 start up problem
When I first start up IE 8, the home page takes a long time to load (27 secs). After that all other pages load very quickly.
I also use Fire fox and have not had this problem I use the same home page for both browsers I run Vista Ultimate Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have tried different home pages Thanx

Try disabling addons.

Addons have never been enabled. But I checked just in case.

i have the same issue. I usually close it and re-open it and it starts working...

This happens to me all the time. I only use IE to remotely access my work files, but this seriously happens like 50% of the time I open IE. Very annoying.

I have the same problem when open IE even the homepage is set as blank. when open IE it stated Connecting....this happened even in IE7.
