How do i stop firefox from running once i close the window?
I close the firefox window, then when i open it again i receive a message saying that firefox is still running but not responding and that i must close it before opening, how do i do this as it doesn't show up in task manager. Thanks Last edited by sarenax; 06-10-2009 at 02:22 AM. |

sarenax, you need to start your own thread. However I would scan for trojans / spyware.

It's not going to show up on the Applications tab in task manager. Look for firefox.exe on the Processes tab and kill it.

i've had an issue when Firefox will keep running after I close the window and I couldn't re-open, unless I shut down it from task manager processes. It seems to be related to No Script Add On. Once I disable that everything works as it should. It also won't allow certain links to open...
