i don't if there is a way to do that with Firefox, but with Avast, you can do that.
1- double click on avast icon on system tray
2-choose web shield
3-click personalize
4-get to url blocking tab
5-click enable url blocking
6-click add
7-write the site you would like to block
8-if you want to block another site, goto 6
9-when you are done, click ok

this will not block all sites, but the ones you would like the block.

The "simple" way is to block the cookies from that specific website:

In Firefox, click on the Tools Tab > Options... > Privacy Tab.

Then, in the Cookies Pane, ensure the Accept Cookies box is checked. Click on the Exceptions Button and type in the URL of the website you want to block, and click back out.
