Windows Update
Cleaning up a Dell 3000 Pent 4 2.8GHz with XP Home- Whenever Iclick on Windows Update I get a Google - Internet Explorer search page and cannot get to Microsoft update page. It stays on the Google search page. Have disabled any add-ons that could be the problem.

Have you scanned the PC for any spyware and malware issues yet?

Have run AVG-AdAware, and Malware- nothing but cookies found.
