opera tempfiles vs IE temp
Hope this is in the right place.
I use Opera. And after being online for a long time and watching you tube and other streaming video along with all the other thi8ngs online, I will run a cleaner to delete the temp files cookies history etc... Now when using Opera, it shows a very small amout of files deleted. Like 5MB or less. When I used to use IE it would be up in the 1,000's of MB. There is a huge difference in the size of "stuff" being deleted. Why the difference? Its not the App that does the cleaning, I use a couple different ones, and its the same if I do it manually. thanks |

Could it be a setting that automatically deletes temp files after you close the browser like with firefox?

Tools > Preferences > "Advanced" tab > "History"
The cache size and "empty on exit" options are located there.
