uninstall IE6

Ok.....I had recently posted that IE6 kept crashing and giving me the following error:

Iexplore.exe ver 6.02600.0 MSHTML.DLL error

It did this on me with windows 98 and also with a completely new install of XP. Found very little help on Microsoft's pages, but it apparently has something to do with pages that contain tables and trying to scroll with the mouse.

Sooooo......my question is how do I or even, can I uninstall IE6.
Second question. If I can uninstall, then how do I get back on the internet to be able to download IE5? Do I need to download netscape's browser first before uninstalling IE6?

make sure you have a backup browser, go to download.com, and download IE Eradicator.

If you uninstall, it will just go back to your previous version, no extra download is necessary.

You can do it from add/remove programs.
