Multiple Computers Sharing Dial-up Connection

I was just looking on the site below to see what deals they had and came across a couple of items that can be used to allow two or more computers to share a dial-up connection at the same time with just one phone line. The Diamond Homefree Phoneline Network PCI card set of 2 is just $8.95 and the USB setup is $9.95. They state that the max transfer rate is 1 Mbps, so they were probably a flop for home networking, but for Internet browsing they should be OK.
